Three months ago, the Trinity Orchestra, a student orchestra in Ireland, played Daft Punk’s album ‘Discovery’ in Trinity College Dublin’s Exam Hall. This was the first time ever that an orchestra performs Daft Punk’s music in live conditions. This video features the medley of Daft Punk’s greatest hits that was played as an encore.

Two months ago we all discovered on Youtube this new track ‘On A Train’ made by a new band ironically called ‘Mega Mystery Band’. Very similar to artists such as MGMT, Empire of the Sun or even Bloc Party (it sounds like Kele’s voice) this track is addictive and gets stuck in your head from the first play.
But who is behind Mega Mystery Band? Check out the music video below! Any guesses?

Who would have thought that this band could actually be one person and no one else but the famous French producer Yuksek. Below is an interview of the man himself explaining how things happened and why creating such a concept.

Yuksek is proving us that music remains stronger than fame and people are still ready to discover new music and accept new bands as far as the production is good. Well done!

In addition to the first music video posted on their Youtube’s channel, the Mega Mystery Band also posted many videos about people pretending being the members of the band in different parts of the world (Paris, Lisboa, Barcelona…).

The concept might not be new but for sure it is going to inspire a lot of peeps in the music industry!
